As a seasoned leadership coach and school improvement consultant, I offer over a decade of experience gained both as an independent consultant and as a local authority advisor. My background includes leading on city wide projects, delivering school improvement services, and serving as Chair of Governors at a large primary school. I offer headteacher performance management and provide unique training courses and leadership programmes that create impactful change.

My key areas of expertise:

• Coaching and professional 1:1 support for headteachers, senior and middle leaders.

• Facilitation for senior leadership teams - e.g. school improvement planning, working out plans to achieve a whole school priority, team coaching to improve the impact of collective leadership.
  
  
• Support for leaders with specific remits, e.g. curriculum development, staff development, pupil premium and improving outcomes for disadvantaged pupils, core subjects.
  
  
• Development of teaching and learning with a view to raising academic achievement and removing barriers to learning.
  
  
• School development planning, including visioning, data analysis, problem solving, and strategising. My wide knowledge base of educational research, particularly in relation to improving academic outcomes, is especially useful to senior leaders needing to raise standards.

Tap into services

Services include:

• Create your own leadership programmes: This can be for a single school, a group of schools or MAT. From short training courses to year-long development programmes, I can work with you to design a bespoke package of training and coaching for leaders. This can be delivered remotely, or using a mix of online and in-person days, or entirely face-to-face.
• Support for school improvement professionals - Having trained and managed ASTs, SLEs and local authority consultants, and having extensive experience of supporting schools myself, I can provide training and development for a range of different school improvement personnel. This can be direct training, coaching, team facilitation or leading network meetings. I am able to work with central staff in multi-academy trusts whose remit is school improvement.
• Leadership support- Coaching and professional dialogue, headteacher performance management, problem solving, facilitation of working parties, data analysis and review, school improvement partnership.
