I have run my training business for more than 10 years, and as an experienced school improvement consultant I offer both central courses and bespoke training optons for schools in Yorkshire.

My key areas of expertise:

• Coaching and professional 1:1 support for headteachers, senior and middle leaders.

• Support for senior leadership teams, e.g. team development, strategic planning, project management, school culture - including a strategic approach to wellbeing.
  
  
• Development of teaching and learning with a view to raising academic achievement and removing barriers to learning for disadvantaged pupils.
  
  
• Raising standards in specific areas linked to improving outcomes for disadvantaged pupils: oracy, reading comprehension, metacognition, growth mindsets.

Tap into services

Services include:

• Create your own leadership programmes: This can be for a single school, a group of schools or MAT. From short training courses to year-long development programmes, I can work with you to design a bespoke package of training and coaching for leaders. This can be delivered remotely, or using a mix of online and in-person days, or entirely face-to-face.
• Support for school improvement professionals - Having trained and managed ASTs, SLEs and local authority consultants, and having extensive experience of supporting schools myself, I can provide training and development for a range of different school improvement personnel. This can be direct training, coaching, team facilitation or leading network meetings. I am able to work with central staff in multi-academy trusts whose remit is school improvement.
• Leadership support- Coaching and professional dialogue, headteacher performance management, problem solving, facilitation of working parties, data analysis and review, school improvement partnership.
